Pension & Auto Enrolment

Workplace pensions, fully compliant.

Every UK employer with at least one eligible jobholder must operate a workplace pension scheme that meets Auto Enrolment requirements — and The Pensions Regulator (TPR) issues fines starting at £400 (with daily escalation) for non-compliance. Heartlands sets up and runs the entire scheme for you: selecting the right provider, configuring contributions, assessing every employee every pay period, processing opt-ins and opt-outs, submitting contributions, completing your Declaration of Compliance and triennial re-enrolment, and acting as your point of contact with TPR if any query arises. Whether you're a brand-new employer or inheriting a poorly run legacy scheme, we make Auto Enrolment a quiet, automated background process.

Overview

What this service does

Auto Enrolment requires you to (a) operate a qualifying workplace pension scheme, (b) automatically enrol every eligible jobholder, (c) make minimum employer contributions, (d) handle opt-outs within one month, (e) re-enrol eligible jobholders every three years, and (f) keep records for six years. Heartlands handles all of it. We work with all major providers — NEST, Smart Pension, The People's Pension, Aviva, Royal London, Scottish Widows — and integrate the chosen scheme with your payroll so assessment and contribution submissions happen automatically every pay period.
